Certificates and Cards

Student ID Card 

Central Department of Geology issues ID cards to students who have enroled in CDG and applied for the cards. ID cards will be valid for one year. Students can apply for renewal the card when they enter the session of Second Year.

CDG Library Card

Students of geology and other discipline can use materials of the library of CDG. However, they need to obtain library cards to use books and journals. Library of CDG issues CDG Library Cards to students after it obtains application letters and photos from applicants.  The card will be valid for one year.

TU Central Library Card

Central Library of Tribhuvan University located in the Kirtipur Campus premise issues library cards to students. Students have to fill up forms and get authorized signatures from CDG to apply for the card.

Recommendation Letter

Students of CDG visiting for fieldwork, whether it be for dissertation or for department’s fieldwork tour, may obtain recommendation letters from CDG after applying to CDG. Those students who after passing from CDG may also need recommendation letters to apply for pursuing courses offered by universities abroad. To apply for the letters, students will have to submit details of their academic records, curriculum vitae, and documents of university where they are applying.

Clearance Letter

Clearance letters from TU Central Library, CDG store and CDG Library are the must to obtain Character Certificate and Mark Sheet from CDG.

Character Certificate

Charater Certificates can be obtained from CDG by those students who have passed Master Degree. Before applying for the Character Certificate, students require to obtain letters of clearance from various bodies as mentioned before.

Mark Sheet

CDG provides yearly academic records to its students after completion of their examinations.

Transcript

Students can obtain transcript from TU Controller Office located at Balkhu. Students, however, need to apply for the transcripts, and submit necessary documents.
